Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the GrowKit mobile application (Android package com.growkit.app) and related public pages. By requesting an OTP or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use GrowKit.

Who may use GrowKit

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract under Indian law. You must use a mobile number you control. GrowKit is not directed at children.

The service

GrowKit lets people list and discover farm animals, used machines, produce, and related goods; express interest; make offers; call or share listings; measure land; check mandi prices; find Farm Doctor contacts; and optionally use GrowKit Premium. We provide the platform. We are not the buyer or seller of items listed by users, and we do not take possession of animals or goods.

Your account

• You are responsible for OTPs, devices, and activity on your account.
• Provide a true name and listing details. Fake, stolen, or misleading posts may be removed and the account suspended.
• Do not share your OTP. We will never ask for it on a call except through the official SMS.

User listings and conduct (Google Play user-generated content)

Listings, photos, offers, and profile details are posted by users, not by GrowKit. You agree that you will:

• Only list items you have the right to sell.
• Make photos and descriptions match the actual animal or goods.
• Not post illegal goods, stolen property, scams, hate, sexual content, violence, spam, or another person’s data without permission.
• Not harass buyers or sellers, evade a block, or misuse reports.

Use in-app Report on a listing and Block on a user if you see abuse. We may hide or remove content, restrict Call or listing features, or suspend an account when we believe these terms or the law are at risk. We try to review reports, but we cannot check every post before it appears.

Premium

GrowKit Premium unlocks extra features described in the app (such as seeing prices and calling sellers). Fees, if any, are shown before you pay. If you pay through Google Play, Google’s payment and refund rules also apply. If you pay through another partner, that partner’s rules apply. Premium does not guarantee a sale, a buyer, or a specific listing rank. We may change Premium features with notice in the app.

Deals between users

Price, inspection, transport, payment, and veterinary checks are between buyer and seller. GrowKit does not escrow money or certify animals unless we clearly say so in the app for a specific feature. You should inspect livestock and documents yourself before you pay.

Availability

We aim to keep the app available, but hosting, SMS, maps, or maintenance can cause delay. We are not liable for lost listings, missed calls, or downtime beyond what Indian consumer law requires.

Intellectual property

GrowKit’s name, design, and software belong to us. You keep rights to photos and text you upload, and you grant us a worldwide licence to host, display, and share them in the app, notifications, and related public pages so the Mall can function. You can end that licence for a listing by deleting it or asking us to delete your account, except copies already shared by other users.

Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. Location, camera, and notification permissions are optional but some features need them.

Termination

You may stop using GrowKit at any time. To delete your account and personal data, use in-app Help or the Support section on this page, and include the mobile number on the account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, harm other users, or create legal risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you have.
